Beautiful, all those shades of purple in this paperpad. And those hydrangeas really make me long for the summer, when we can sit in our garden again!
This 6 x 6 design paper pad (Craftsensations), is in my stash for… uhm, wel for a long time! So when I saw the sketch challenge at Creative Sketchy Girls, I immediately know what to do with it! The butterfly comes from a die-cut I have bought recently from a Ali-shop.
Very nice that you will come to visit my blog again! I hope to see you again soon! Happy crafting!
I love all those whimsical Fairy Stamps. They come in all sizes and brands and you see so many different techniques where these stamps are good for. So I could not wait to start a card with one of the stamps.
I have spend a whole saterday evening and sunday crafting! I first have to choose some nice cardstock and design papers. Than I have to trie the stamping technique and then I have to choose which stamp I should use. Then I have die cutted the circles for the card and stamped all the flowers. Colored them in and place them on my card. I say: succeed! What do you think?
With this card, I would like to play in the following challenges:
I’m so excited to announce that I have joined the Creative Knockouts Design Team! I look forward to sharing some super fun challenges with you for this super creative team. I’m jumping right in with Challenge #334 – In Stitches sponsored by The Artsy Stamper!
I was excited to work with the Love Birds Digital Stamp. It’s beautiful! I think you can use this stamp for various occasions too! As a Valentine’s Day card, a card for a wedding couple or a card to offer someone sympathy. Everything is possible!
Here is what I have created:
I first printed out the digi. Then I started to color the print with distress inks (mustard seed, picked raspberry, spiced marmalade and mowed lawn). I stamped the distress inks on a piece of plastic and sprayed some water on it. Then I dipped my digi print in the inks. I have repeated the entire process one more time to get nice, bright colors. I have put my print aside for a while to let it dry very well. I then pasted a bright pink card onto a blank card. And I splattered on a square white card with some blue colors of watercolorpaints. Then I cut out and pasted my “Lovebirds” stamp on my card. I have colored the eyes of the birds a bit with a white gel pen. Finally, I stamped a line with my “stitch stamp” and placed the birds on the card so that it looks like the lovebirds are on it. And of course I stuck some sequins to the card and then my card was ready.
With the Lovebirds stamp the card has become a beautiful mixed media artwork! It was very nice to make, simple and with a good result! I love that.
I want to thank you for visiting my blog and wish you lots of fun with the challenge on Creative Knockouts! Until next time! Deezy
