Some details about my card: As always, I used design paper from Craft Sensations out of my huge stock 🙂 I liked the idea of putting the tags in it too. I colored the digital stamp and cut out all the pieces and critters and processed them on my card and two of the tags. As you can see I put a piece of ribbon through the tags. I did not have the green ribbon in stock, but I colored a piece of white ribbon with the same color alcohol marker as I used in the stamp. And that, my dear friends, is another tip I’ve seen from Gina K!
I wrote the text on one of the tags by hand and with a brush marker.
One of my old boy friends was also called Henry. Yeah, those were the good old times! Anyway.
Details about my card: For the sentiment, I have used some letter stickers. I hope you haven’t heard me curse, because it was not easy to get them pasted in a straight line 🙂 I colored “Henry” in the colors that were in my design paper. I cut him out and past hem right on the edge of my card. I took some little butterfly stamps and stamped them on the card. The text “van harte gefeliciteerd” is dutch for “Happy Birthday”. I cut a strip on the side of my card. I pasted the design paper on the inside of the card.
With this card I would love to play along in the following challenges:
It is time again for challenge #5 at All Fun Challenge blog! This week, “there is something new in the air” ….. oh la la! It’s spring! Our challenge is always “anything goes” but this week with a twist: “everything spring”.

I was excited to work with a stamp from Bugaboo Stamps: the “spring elephant” . You can use “spring elephant”, for many of your card projects! I think it is perfect for a new little baby girl too! What do you think?! But of course, you can use it on many other projects too.
Here is what I have created:
March 22 again! And spring too. I must honestly tell you that it was difficult to get started to make the map. Not because of this very nice stamp. Then I spoke to myself very strict and said: now you sit down and you are going to make something! Maybe not a very nice card, but at least I did my best. And once you have started, the rest actually goes by itself. The hardest part is getting started.
I took some of my cutting dies this time. Also because I wanted to use that super cute bow. It was not easy to stick the bow, but in the end it worked out with some brutal force. 🙂 I put some bling bling things on those spots where the designer of this stamp drew water droplets. And a bling bling flower on the spot of the little snowflake. I destressed the edges of the desing paper very lightly.
With this very cute stamp of the spring elephant, my card is perfect to make a little girl happy, I think!
About the challenge: Our challenge this week is to create a project based on a fun Tic Tac Toe board! You will find this board on our blog. So how this works is: you need to choose one line-straight or diagonal and use all three elements of that line on your project. Be sure to describe what you have used in your project!
About the sponsor: This challenge is sponsored by: Bugaboo Stamps Along with images provided to the design team, they have also offered up a prize, you can win: $12 voucher OR approx 4 images to one lucky crafter!
What do you think of this happy spring trio? Does they not make you extremely happy? And despite the fact that the sun still doesn’t seem very enthusiastic today, with these three happy little friends, you get the spring tickles yourself. Just a “little sunshine on a cloudy day”, wink wink 🙂 Do you hear me humming the song while I was crafting?
Some details about my card: I choose to go for: distressing, bling and ofcourse the digital stamp “Spring Bunnies“.
Thanks for visiting my blog! I hope to see you next time! And be sure and join in our weekly challenge at The Creative Knockouts! Please click on the link to join in the fun, I can’t wait to see what you create!!!
First of all, lots of people around the world, are affected by the current health situation. Many of you might be having a difficult time! That is why I like to reach out with positive thoughts and encouragement, and I hope that the community of crafters and artists can be an encouragement in this weird time. Making and sharing crafts and art can be a comforting and helpful a way to refocus our thoughts!
Well, lets go to a new challenge now. I am so honoured to be a new design team member for Aud Sentiments Challenge Blog! Thank you so much for the opportunity. Here is my very first design team card.
“Isn’t she lovely?!” Oh yes, that was what came to my mind, when I first saw this beautiful digistamp. The illustration looks very detailled, but I can asure you that it is very easy to color!
Details about my card: I used a design paper from my paper stash. It is many years old, I can tell. I thought the spring design will match the theme and the fairy as well. Of course I have to use a sentiment. I did not found any sentiments in my stash that I had in mind (can you believe that? No of course not 😉 ) so I search on the web , found a nice sentiment that fullfilled my needs and printed it also out on a somewhat heavier cardstock. I also printed the image of the fairy out twice and made a kind of a 3D effect with the tullips.
I’m so excited to announce that I have joined the All Fun Challenges Design Team! I look forward to sharing some super fun challenges with you for this super creative team. I’m jumping right in with the March Challenge #4!

I was excited to work with the “Young Inari and kitsune” coloring page. This image is part of a coloring book, named Goddesses of Myths . The coloringbook is as beautiful like the name tells you. Besides coloringbooks for adults they also sell digital stamps for crafters. And that is why I decided to make a cart of my finished project!
Here is what I have created:
Guess what I was singing when I was working on my project? Exactly: “Little China Girl” by David Bowie!
Some details about the making of my card: I have to tell you that for this project I have pulled out my entire watercolor assortment! Everything was used: water color, pearl water color, aqua markers, water color pencils, gel pens and a white gelly roller. As I say: everything! What I also did before I start to paint, is google on “how does chinese wolves looks like”, “how does a chinese landscape look like”, I have googled on “chinese girls” … etc. I did a little bit of a research before I started my project! Like we use to say in the Netherlands: Klaar is Klara! (-> “Klara” is ready 🙂 )
With this beautiful “Young Inari and kitsune” coloring page, my card has become a beautiful mixed media artwork! It was very nice to make, challenging, but with a good result! I love that.

Our theme for this week is: Lots of Layers! We challenge you to use lots of layers on your card , so use your paper and embellishments!
Oh, you know me and my association with all kinds of songs and lyrics while I am crafting. This cute image reminds me of a Dutch child song: “Hanneke en Janneke“. It is a song about two little friends, who are walking under mothers umbrella, while the rain sings a song…
So you now know why I used this design papers in the colors of the Dutch flag: red, white and blue! Besides, on this moment it is realy raining cat’s and dogs out here, so I had a lot of inspiration , to make this card!
This is how I made my card:
First, I printed this incredibly fun digital stamp “Sher and Mike” on a somewhat thicker paper.
Then I colored it with my alcohol markers For the shading I used some color pencils too.
The images is very detailed. I colored it in with just a few colors of my alcohol markers.
I also colored the whole background of my image with a greyish/blue light color. This time I made little rounds with my brushtip of my alcoholmarker, so the backround look like rainy clouds.
When I was working on it, I decided to ad some more details to the image. So I draw a little waterpool around the feets of the characters. And I added some dots to the rain boots of the little girl. And if you noticed: I could not stop being worried about the cold feets of the boy in the waterpool, so I colored the whole slippers blue and it looks now that he has better shoes for this kind of wheater LOL (it was just a happy accident , but do not tell anybody further 😉 )
I matted my colored image into a square piece of design paper.
I add some cute little glitter raindrops to the card. Just for a little fun.
Than I glued my image on a larger piece of cardstock using the same red as my designpapers.
Because with the distressed corners the cards looks a little vintage and so the card became quit eclectic. That is why I thought I could ad a vintage style bow to my card too.
The design paper I have used, is from my stash. I used a paperpack from Marianne Designs, called Dutch Design and I have used a paperpack from Craftsensations.
