All Fun Challenges #5- Spring Elephant

It is time again for challenge #5 at All Fun Challenge blog! This week, “there is something new in the air” ….. oh la la! It’s spring! Our challenge is always “anything goes” but this week with a twist: “everything spring”.

And to celebrate “Spring”, we have 2 sponsors today at All Fun. That means also you can fabulous prices on entering challenge #5 at All Fun! We welcome: Bugaboo stamps, who offers a $12.00 gift code  to the winner of the challenge which is approx 4 digital images!

We also welcome Twistoon who offers a price of $10 and another of $5!

I was excited to work with a stamp from Bugaboo Stamps: the “spring elephant” . You can use “spring elephant”, for many of your card projects! I think it is perfect for a new little baby girl too! What do you think?! But of course, you can use it on many other projects too.

Here is what I have created:

March 22 again! And spring too. I must honestly tell you that it was difficult to get started to make the map. Not because of this very nice stamp. Then I spoke to myself very strict and said: now you sit down and you are going to make something! Maybe not a very nice card, but at least I did my best. And once you have started, the rest actually goes by itself. The hardest part is getting started.

I took some of my cutting dies this time. Also because I wanted to use that super cute bow. It was not easy to stick the bow, but in the end it worked out with some brutal force. 🙂 I put some bling bling things on those spots where the designer of this stamp drew water droplets. And a bling bling flower on the spot of the little snowflake. I destressed the edges of the desing paper very lightly.

With this very cute stamp of the spring elephant, my card is perfect to make a little girl happy, I think!

A Crazy Ferris Wheel

Actually, I am someone who looks in November already, all the plants out of the ground. I don’t like rain, cold, or wetness at all! Okay, Christmas is fun, but I prefer to skip the autumn and winter months. But this year I prefer to skip the coming months. I wish we were six months later in the year! I think that’s why I participate in this Christmas card challenge!

Don’t they look carefree from these snowmen in the Ferris wheel?

Take good care of yourself! Thank you for visiting my blog. I hope to see you again soon! Bye,

With this card I would like to enter in the following challenges:

All Fun Challenges #4-Fabrika Fantasy

I’m so excited to announce that I have joined the All Fun Challenges Design Team! I look forward to sharing some super fun challenges with you for this super creative team.
I’m jumping right in with the March Challenge #4!

This week, our sponsor is: Fabrika Fantasy. Fabrika Fantasy writes and illustrates stories in the genre of fantasy adventure and children’s books. They offer illustration services for authors as well as images for crafters and designers. Awesome coloringpages and digistamps are available as instant downloads in their online store. I invite you to take a tour through their awesome website! After you joined the wonderful challenges at All Fun Challenge Blog of course, because this weeks prices are sponsered by this faboulus sponsor!

I was excited to work with the “Young Inari and kitsune” coloring page. This image is part of a coloring book, named Goddesses of Myths . The coloringbook is as beautiful like the name tells you. Besides coloringbooks for adults they also sell digital stamps for crafters. And that is why I decided to make a cart of my finished project!

Here is what I have created:

Guess what I was singing when I was working on my project? Exactly: “Little China Girl” by David Bowie!

Some details about the making of my card:
I have to tell you that for this project I have pulled out my entire watercolor assortment! Everything was used: water color, pearl water color, aqua markers, water color pencils, gel pens and a white gelly roller. As I say: everything!
What I also did before I start to paint, is google on “how does chinese wolves looks like”, “how does a chinese landscape look like”, I have googled on “chinese girls” … etc. I did a little bit of a research before I started my project!
Like we use to say in the Netherlands: Klaar is Klara! (-> “Klara” is ready 🙂 )

With this beautiful “Young Inari and kitsune” coloring page, my card has become a beautiful mixed media artwork! It was very nice to make, challenging, but with a good result! I love that.

Entered in the following challenges:
Angie’s Digital Stamps – #40 Anything Goes Not twist
CD Sunday Plus Challenge – #30 Anything goes
Dare 2b Artzy – March Challenge

Wishing you good luck with challenge #4 at All Fun Challenges!

Place to Start March, 2020 Challenge: Use A Household Product

I can hardly believe it is already March! But the new challenge at A Place To Start, makes me believe that it is really true! And this month we challenge you to use a household product as an embellishment (paper clip, coffee filter shape, tissue paper flower, waxed paper (as a substitute for vellum or shaker pocket, etc.)) If that is not a challenge! But for a creative person, this must succeed.

I made a small knit from 2 toothpicks! Here is my card, I hope you like it!!!

How I made my card:
1. With 2 toothpicks and embroidery thread I have set up a knitwear.
2. I then wound a small ball of yarn to suggest a small ball of wool.
3. At the end of the toothpicks I have glued 2 beads.
4. I have glued a heart-shaped doily onto a card.
5. I have a piece of washi tape that looks like a measuring tape: perfect for this card!
6. I have given my little knitwear a nice place on my card.
7. I added some sequins for the fun.
8. And I have a stamp set from Alie- express with this fun text saying: “You keep me from unraveling”.
I stamped this text with versamark ink and embossed it with white embossing powder.

Here you can see a detailed look of the final embellishment:

Place to Start February Challenge: Create A Masculine Card or Project

I have also recently become a design team member of the incredibly fun challenge blog A Place to Start! Place to Start has a new challenge starting today!!! Here is my first contribution for the month of February.

The theme this month is: Create A Masculine Card or Project.
Please click on the link to join in the fun, I can’t wait to see what you create!!!

Here is my card, I hope you like it!!!

How I made my card:
1. I first picked out some nice design paper.
2. Then I cut out a square on white card stock. Here I used my sunshine stencil and blended it with a
distress ink on a white square. I put some sequins in it, pasted a piece of accetate in front of it and
stuck it on my card.
3. I found the white square frame a bit boring, so I also edited that with some blue distress ink.
Then I stamped and colored my balloons, cut them out and stuck them on the card. Along with some
small white clouds.
4. And finally, with I used a small stamp to stamp the text “Have A Fabulous Birthday” on the top edge of
the frame.

Thank you for your visit and your visit to my card making web blog. I hope to see you next time! And bBe sure and join in our monthly challenge at a Place to Start Blog!

Perfect Purples

Beautiful, all those shades of purple in this paperpad. And those hydrangeas really make me long for the summer, when we can sit in our garden again!

This 6 x 6 design paper pad (Craftsensations), is in my stash for… uhm, wel for a long time! So when I saw the sketch challenge at Creative Sketchy Girls, I immediately know what to do with it! The butterfly comes from a die-cut I have bought recently from a Ali-shop.

Very nice that you will come to visit my blog again! I hope to see you again soon! Happy crafting!

Anything Goes Challenges

I love all those whimsical Fairy Stamps. They come in all sizes and brands and you see so many different techniques where these stamps are good for. So I could not wait to start a card with one of the stamps.

I have spend a whole saterday evening and sunday crafting! I first have to choose some nice cardstock and design papers. Than I have to trie the stamping technique and then I have to choose which stamp I should use. Then I have die cutted the circles for the card and stamped all the flowers. Colored them in and place them on my card. I say: succeed! What do you think?

With this card, I would like to play in the following challenges:

Thank you so much for visiting my blog and I hope you will leave me a comment and that you come back next time! Bye, bye,
